Counting Down

Good Evening Steppers,

Well, it's getting closer and closer until the Grand Re-Opening of the Elk's. That class will resume on Thursdays. And also, the Saturday classes and locations have been found. Working out the last minute details, but for the most part, it's a go! Now we're going to make AZ a dance Meca---. We're going to have Chicago Steppin, Detroit Ballroom, and Detroit Bop added to the mix here. Let's get out, and have some fun, as life is short. REMEMBER NEVER PUT THINGS OFF UNTIL LATER, AS LATER NEVER COMES. For those who start early, will reap early rewards.

VEGAS TRIP ANYONE ??

Everyone, if you are interested in sharing a bus to Las Vegas for the 4 day subject event, please respond back immediately and let me know. This is for Saturday main Steppin event, leaving Saturday morning, returning Sunday afternoon. Staying at the host hotel for the event. Call 480 334 1583 (Lizz), 602 413 8169 (Tonya). Details below:

30 people - Include room & bus ride, total $85.00 per person.

20 people - Include room & bus ride, total $110.00 per person.

15 people - Include room & bus ride, total $135.00 per person.

Due to the short timeframe for the event, we must have the money by

Monday, May 17, 2010 in order to secure those rates. You will have to

purchase your entry ticket for the event, depending on the number wanting

to take the bus, there is possibly a discount on the one day (Saturday) entry for the event.

Slacking---

Hello all, sorry for the long-------wait, and my disappearing act, I just needed to balance work, class, private lessons, piano practice, studying for work, and how can I forget, posting and editing videos and pictures from the different parties I went too. Wow, my English teacher is going to kill me about that last thousand word sentence. ha ha ha So, just as I ask you to find some time to practice, I will find some time to keep the site updated. I guess I can start with some new music too. :-) Now I've had some ideas about a couple more things, I'll start changing the main video each month for study purposes. They will show turns, both left and right, half turns, and of course the basic steps. Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm drawing close to having a Saturday class. This week is going to be busy, but I'm determined to put things in place this week.

The Chocolate Party in AZ

The Chocolate Party was a huge success judging by it's attendance, the fun, and the fact that it was so crowed it was just shy of standing room only. :-) I met some really nice people, including someone I went to elementary school with. Don't ask me how she knew who I was, I probably couldn't recognize me back then. lol Anyway, I had a nice time, and I got to practice some new moves, which is always a good thing. Sadly this time I didn't have my cameras, so I didn't take any pictures, nor video of the event. However, I did dance, dance, and danced some more. Such a beautiful thing.

Just another GREAT Weekend!

Well Well Well, I was so excited for our Big Steppin Event, and NOT REAL excited that's it's over. Although my feet are killing me. ha ha ha But I'd do it all again, in a New York minute. Now what do you think about the TENT Party? That was something. I enjoyed every second of it too--- well that's not true. I do/did have one problem with it, we should have done this a long----- time ago. Something strange though, I saw someone doing fancy footwork, but when the guy grabbed this person, she could barely do her basic correctly. PEOPLE, LADIES YOU MUST LEARN YOUR BASICS. You can only imagine how you look, I'll help you out: Picture if you will a drunk trying to wall down the street, staggering left, right, but when he goes to his bottle he's steady as a rock. Oh he can't walk straight, but when it comes to tossing up that bottle-----
